Department: Department of Anaesthesiology
Vision/Mission: The Department of Anaesthesiology at GMC Anantnag, established in 2019, is dedicated to providing high-quality anaesthetic care, ensuring patient safety, and advancing medical education. Headed by Dr. Anjum Shamin, our team includes experienced faculty and residents committed to excellence in perioperative care, pain management, and critical care services. We serve the South Kashmir region, handling a high volume of surgical cases daily.

About Department: The Department of Anaesthesiology provides comprehensive anaesthetic services for surgical procedures, intensive care, and pain management. Our services include preoperative assessments, intraoperative anaesthesia management, and postoperative care. We are actively involved in training DNB candidates and MBBS students, with ongoing research in critical care and pain management.
